The Chablis Collection
Chablis is a wine-growing region in the northeastern most part of Burgundy, France. Even though Chablis is made from Chardonnay grapes, the wine is named for the region because of its unique character which reflects the “terroir” and winemaking specific to the area.
We have chosen three gorgeous and distinct bottles that will take you straight to these French vineyards from the first sip.
2018 Domaine Louis Michel & Fils Chablis
Notes of white fruit such as peach, with a mineral structure. In the mouth, a stony sensation complements this pure, rounded wine. Serve between 12˚C and 14˚C.
2016 Bernard Defaix Petit Chablis
A lovely Chablis. Fresh green apples, pear, lemon cured, crush chalk, fresh white mushrooms, a little creamy texture, and bright mineral finish.
2016 Lavantureux Chablis Vieilles Vignes
“This young Chablis is singing right out of the gate: you’ll find generous ripe fruit, a dense, tightly knit backbone, and a full-flavoured, zesty finish of citrus and stone.” Anthony Lynch
