Our Fruit & Vegetable Boxes are proving very popular so here are some of the answers to your most asked questions.

Answers to our most asked questions

  1. Once your Box is packed, we will message (email or text) you with to confirm a delivery time
  2. Yes, you need to make sure you provide your contact phone number at checkout
  3. Yes, our packing and delivery process follows the highest, government recommended hygiene practices
  4. Yes, you can buy more than one box, however they can only be delivered to a single address (from one order)
  5. If you want to gift a box, please purchase as a separate order
  6. Sorry, Melbourne only delivery
  7. Yes, we can do bulk orders for corporates wanting to support ‘work at home’ employees. Please contact us to find out more
  8. No, you don’t have to be a Wine Club member to buy a box
  9. A purchase is a one-off – please re-order when you need another box
  10. Yes, you can buy more than one bottle of wine in an order! (Noting that wine is not included in the price of the box.) Delivery costs might change depending on how many bottles
  11. Yes, you can create an order as a gift – please make sure you include a different delivery address, and any instructions or message in the ‘notes’ input at checkout

The fine print

  1. Boxes are created from the daily fruit and vegetable harvests delivered by our distributor. We do our best to create a good mix of produce but cannot predict or guarantee an exact list of what a box will contain
  2. The Local Drop, it’s employees and delivery partners reserve the right to withdraw an order if stocks are not sufficient. We will call to confirm a refund
  3. Fresh seafood and crumpets must refrigerated
  4. We are offering this service to assist the many people who are self-isolating or having to work from home. We will do our best to deliver on the day, however if due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver at the time provided we will contact you with an update on a revised delivery time
  5. Wine is not included – box price is for a single box, plus $9.50 for contactless delivery
  6. You can add wine, crumpets or a Breakfast Box to your order and they will be delivered at the same time. Additional delivery charges may apply depending on the number of bottles of wine you add
  7. A Produce Box Subscription can be weekly or fortnightly. No contracts, simply contact us to cancel
  8. If you are in quarantine – please leave a note on your door with any instructions
