2025 Scorpo Estate Chardonnay

Flavour town here. It’s a juicy stone fruit, pear and spiced affair, with a little struck match on top. It has a chalky feel, some nougat and cashew creaminess, but it also sports tight grapefruity acidity and flavour, along with limey richness. The finish is a little nutty, and really quite long. Drizzled is a word that springs to mind as I taste it. There’s just so much drizzling here. Very good. 94 points. Gary Walsh, The Winefront Apr 2026
