2023 Onannon Tuerong Chardonnay is classic Mornington Chardonnay in terms of intensity and fruit flavour, but has an extra dimension of finesse. Stone fruit, lemon curd, citrus, a flicker of aniseed and white flower perfume with a little cinnamon biscuit oak in tow. It’s juicy but tight in acidity, a pink grapefruit cut, flinty and gently saline on a finish offering freshness and excellent length. So nicely done. Terrific. 95 points – Gary Walsh, The Winefront
