2021 Conterno Nebbiolo Vigna Arione is the first release in this stellar vintage of this wine which is an expression of the section of Arione that falls outside of the commune of Barolo. Made in exactly the same way as Roberto’s Barolo, with slightly less aging, this wine is so very pretty. Supple fruit, clean and lithe, almost, but with great stuffing and all the hallmarks of great Barolo. Spice, mineral, red and dark fruits and lots of seriousness and joy.
