The Clonakilla Hilltops Shiraz comes from a family winery, established in 1971. Their wines draw their character from the granite soils and cool, continental climate of the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales.
“Medium-bodied, spice and hazelnuts, mint, blueberry and fresh blackberry, a juicy sort of acidity and a firm crunch to tannin, kind of a wheatgerm flavour and texture too, and a bright and meaty peppery finish of good length. Not the most concentrated, but freshness is appealing.” – Gary Walsh
