New Release – 2015 Zarate Albariños from Rias Baixas (Salnes Valley) Spain

Scott Wasley is a pioneer of wine importing into Australia and has been showcasing Spanish and Portuguese wine long before the queues formed at MoVida and Bar Lourinha. Well before anything like the 2015 Zarate Albariños was readily available.

The 2015 Zarate is a family owned estate with Eulogio & Rebecca Zarate in charge. They are the first organic grower in the region and principally grow Albariño with a few other native red varieties. The fruit in this wine is picked by hand from vines that average 35 years. An elegant, fresh and balanced wine.
