Known as the “The wine of kings, the king of wines”, Barolo is considered the best of the best of the Italian reds. Barolo is a red DOCG wine produced in the northern Italian region of Piedmont, and is produced exclusively from the Nebbiolo grape.

According to DOCG regulations, the wines must be aged for at least two years in oak and one year in bottle, with five years of age (three in oak) required for Riserva labeling, both with a minimum 13 percent alcohol content.

Barolo is one of those wines that surprises you when you taste it. For as pale and floral as it looks and smells, it is a punch on the tongue with its astringent tannin and high acidity. Rose petal, cherry and raspberry sauce, cinnamon, white pepper, and, with age, licorice, leather, and chocolate.

We have nabbed 3 exceptionally rare and amazing Barolos for this collection. Grab them now, they won’t last long!

2015 Brezza Barolo
Juicy and generous, this delicious red opens with aromas of dark-skinned berry, fragrant blue flower and baking spice. On the round, almost creamy palate, refined tannins and fresh acidity accompany juicy raspberry, cinnamon, nutmeg and a hint of eucalyptus. Just lovely.

2010 Fenocchio Barolo ‘Villero’
Scents of woodland berries, violets, dried rose petals, baking spices and Mediterranean herbs emerge from this wine. Crushed Morello cherry, graphite, red raspberry and white pepper all come seamlessly together on the palate alongside invigorating energy and intensity.

2015 Revello Barolo
Deep ruby red. Full, sweet, ripe red fruit, plum jam, sweet wood notes on the nose. Vigorous, quite soft, warm, tannic, fresh, persistent on the palate.
